Cancellation and refund policy

Trips booked on our website

You cancel or change your booking

• Up to 24 hours before departure: free. If you've paid anything, you get a full refund. You can also move to another date if one is free.
• Less than 24 hours before departure, or if you don't show up: [to be added]

We cancel or cut a trip short

• If the skipper cancels for weather, sea conditions, safety or any other reason on our side, you choose: a new date, or a full refund.
• If we have to cut a trip short for safety, we'll offer you a fair partial refund or a new date.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, within 14 days of the cancellation.

No 14-day withdrawal for trips

EU and Spanish law give consumers a 14-day right of withdrawal for many distance contracts. It doesn't apply to leisure services booked for a specific date, such as our trips (Spanish consumer law, TRLGDCU art. 103(l)). Our free cancellation up to 24 hours before departure applies instead.

Trips booked on GetYourGuide

Cancel through GetYourGuide. Their cancellation terms shown on the booking apply (currently free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start), and GetYourGuide handles the refund.

Right of withdrawal

If you're a consumer and you agreed the purchase with us remotely (for example by email or phone) or away from our premises, you can withdraw within 14 days without giving a reason:

• Batteries: 14 days from the day you or your representative receive the battery.
• Engineering services: 14 days from the day we agree the contract.

To withdraw, send us a clear statement by email to info@sail-mallorca.com. You can use the form below, but you don't have to. We refund all payments within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method. For batteries, we may wait to refund until we have the battery back. You pay the cost of returning it, and you're responsible for any loss in value caused by handling it beyond what's needed to check it.

If you asked us to start an engineering service during the 14 days, you pay for the part already done. You lose the right of withdrawal once we've completed the service, if you asked us to start and confirmed you knew you'd lose the right.

The right of withdrawal doesn't apply to business customers.

Faulty products

New batteries sold to consumers have the 3-year legal guarantee. If a battery is faulty, contact us and we'll repair or replace it, or refund you where the law provides. FORSTER's own warranty applies on top of this.
