Terms and booking conditions
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms apply when you book a trip directly on sail-mallorca.com, or ask us for a quote for berths or marine engineering. The business is [to be added] ([to be added]), trading as Sail Mallorca Charter. Full details are in our legal notice.
If you book on GetYourGuide, GetYourGuide's terms apply to the booking and payment. Our trip details and the safety rules below still apply on board.
1. Booking a trip
- Choose a trip, a date, a start time and the number of guests in the booking calendar, and send the request.
- We hold the start time for you while we check the request.
- We reply by email. Your booking is confirmed only when you receive our confirmation email. That email is our contract with you.
- If we can't take the booking, we tell you and release the time.
The person who books must be 18 or over and books on behalf of the whole group. Please share these terms and the trip information with your group.
2. Prices and payment
- Prices are in euros and include VAT. They're shown per private group or per person, as stated on each trip.
- Each trip lists what is included. Nothing else is added to the price unless you order an optional extra. Extras are priced on request and are agreed with you before the trip.
- Payment: [to be added]
- Dogs are welcome. If a dog soils the boat, a cleaning fee of [to be added] applies.
3. Cancellations and changes
See our cancellation and refund policy.
4. On board
- The skipper is responsible for the safety of the boat and everyone on board. Please follow the skipper's instructions at all times.
- The route depends on wind and weather. The skipper chooses the bay on the day and may change the plan for safety.
- Life jackets are on board for everyone. Swimming and paddleboarding are optional and at your own pace. Please tell us before the trip about any health conditions we should know about.
- Children are welcome but must be supervised by an adult at all times.
- Alcohol is served only to guests aged 18 and over. The skipper may refuse drinks, or ask someone to stop swimming, if it's unsafe.
- Illegal drugs are not allowed on board.
- The maximum is 11 guests.
- Please arrive at the meeting point 15 minutes before departure. If you're late, we may have to shorten the trip so the next one can start on time.
- Please bring soft bags only, no large suitcases or hard-sided bags.
5. Our responsibility
We're responsible for providing the trip as described and with reasonable care and skill. We're not responsible for delays or changes caused by weather, sea conditions or instructions from the port or maritime authorities, but the cancellation policy explains what you get in those cases.
Please look after your belongings. We're not responsible for loss or damage to them unless we caused it. You're responsible for damage you or your group cause on purpose or through carelessness.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law doesn't allow it, for example for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or your rights as a consumer under Spanish and EU law.
6. Marine engineering and FORSTER batteries
- We give you a written quote first. The work, price and timing are those in the quote you accept.
- New batteries sold to consumers have the 3-year legal guarantee under Spanish consumer law. FORSTER also gives its own manufacturer's warranty (8, 5 or 2 years depending on the series), under FORSTER's warranty terms.
- If you're a consumer and you agree the purchase with us remotely (for example by email or phone), you may have a 14-day right of withdrawal. See the cancellation and refund policy.
7. Berths at Naviera Balear
We help yacht owners with commercial use registered to find a long-term berth at Naviera Balear marina. Berths can't be bought, only rented long-term. The berth rental contract is made with the marina under the marina's own terms.
8. Complaints
If something isn't right, please tell us first at info@sail-mallorca.com or +34 662 506 693, and we'll try to sort it out quickly. Official complaint forms (hojas de reclamación) are available on request.
9. Law and courts
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you can bring a claim in the courts of your home country or in Spain.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your booking is the one shown when you sent your request.
